Apply for $10,000 – GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program


The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program offers financial aid to college-bound students who exhibit exceptional leadership, dedication, integrity, and citizenship in an effort to honor the memory and character of our country’s 40th President.

The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program has given 185 diverse student leaders around the country $7.4 million in scholarships since 2011. Recipients come from 110 undergraduate campuses and 40 different home states. Our former Scholars are now leading and serving in a variety of fields around the world, including medical, law, education, business, nonprofits, and more. They are also pursuing graduate degrees.

Information on the GE-Regan Foundation Scholarship:

The Program chooses a number of individuals each year to receive a $10,000 scholarship that is renewable for up to three more years, totaling up to $40,000 for each participant. Awards are for undergraduate studies and may be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, lodging, and board, as well as other educational costs. Scholars are also given the opportunity to take part in a unique awards program and get continuous assistance for their leadership development.

To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

  • demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship;
  • demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent);
  • be citizens of the United States of America;
  • be current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (students living on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are also eligible); and
  • plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.

  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
